Our Karman platform, built on a custom NVIDIA module, brings that same capability to AI data centers, giving operators a way to better use the power already available to them.\nJoin our team as a Technician supporting the deployment, integration, testing, and operation of high-density AI/HPC electrical infrastructure and pilot systems. This role will work across rack-level power systems, pilot/pre-production unit deployments, lab infrastructure, and field installations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-moving engineering environments, bringing a blend of electrical infrastructure experience, mechanical aptitude, a debug/troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to work in evolving engineering environments. This is not a traditional facilities-only or production-only role: it bridges electrical infrastructure, HPC/data center deployment, pilot/pre-production systems, and engineering support.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with rack-level power integration for AI/HPC systems\nBuild and modify rack power distribution systems\nPerform cable routing, wire mapping, and documentation\nSupport mechanical/electrical integration within racks\nAssist with rack deployments at local and remote sites\nCoordinate with data center / colo operators during installs\nSupport pilot/pre-production builds transitioning from engineering into deployment\nAssist with system bring-up, debugging, and validation testing\nHelp develop repeatable build and test processes\nIdentify integration issues prior to production scaling\nSupport HW engineering teams during iterative development\nMinimum Qualifications\nExperience with electrical theory, power systems, including 3-phase power distribution (208V/480V)\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation\nProficiency in cable management and structured wiring\nExperience in prototype, pilot, or New Product Introduction (NPI) environments\nHardware integration, debug support, and a strong troubleshooting mindset\nProficient with hand tools and mechanically inclined\nBasic electronics soldering skills\nTakes ownership of work and demonstrates good problem solving skills\nCurious and continuous learner\nTeam first mindset\nStrong communication skills\nPride in craftsmanship\nEnhanced Qualifications (Nice to Have)\nExperience supporting data center, HPC, or critical power infrastructure deployments\nExperience with prototype, pilot, NPI (New Product Introduction), or pre-production hardware builds\nFamiliarity with PLCs, industrial controls, instrumentation, or automation systems\nExperience commissioning, troubleshooting, or integrating complex electrical/mechanical systems\nExperience developing technical documentation, test procedures, SOPs, or installation standards\nJourneyman or Master Electrician License\nOSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent electrical safety certification\nPLC/Controls training or manufacturer certifications (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.)\nData Center Operations, Commissioning, or Critical Facilities training/certification\nSalary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 base compensation depending on experience.
