If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Quality Control Inspector supporting the Low Voltage Switchgear Department located in Dallas, Texas.\nReporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Junior Quality Control Inspector is responsible for providing quality control and assurance throughout all phases of the production process, with a focus on mechanical and wiring. Other phases include inspections of raw materials, in-process, and final products.\nShift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms visual inspections and other specified tests of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to confirm product meets drawings and specifications\nVerifies and documents the condition and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies.\nUses observation and testing to identify faults in materials and manufacturing process\nDocuments inspection results by completing inspection reports, logs, and checklists\nDocuments corrective action requests and inputs data into corrective action database.\nCommunicates with supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questions regarding products\nMaintain quality records as needed\nKeeps inspection and measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; and notifying management when repairs are necessary.\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n1-3 years’ experience of quality inspections in fabrication/manufacturing environment, particularly in welding\nThorough understanding of the product and/or process being inspected (welding)\nAbility to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail with the task at hand\nDemonstrated proficiency with the ability to safely operate powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, etc.)\nProficient in Microsoft\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.\nMust be able to lift push and/or pull up to 35 pounds at times.\nDexterity and accuracy as needed to operate testing equipment or gauges.\nMust be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform inspections.\nMust be able to traverse production facility to conduct inspections.\nMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorr\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
