The role requires strong hands-on experience in Linux, Windows Server, or IBM AIX administration, along with expertise in server migrations, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, high availability, clustering, automation, and disaster recovery. The candidate will act as an L3 escalation point, lead complex incident resolution, drive root-cause analysis, and mentor junior administrators.\nResponsibilities\nAct as the L3 escalation point and technical lead for Linux, Windows or AIX server environments.\nLead server migrations, OS upgrades and data centre or cloud transitions, including assessment, planning, execution and validation.\nDesign and implement high availability and clustering solutions, such as Pacemaker, Windows Failover Clustering or PowerHA.\nOwn major incidents end to end, lead root-cause analysis and drive permanent fixes.\nDefine and enforce standards for patching, hardening, monitoring and backup across the estate.\nBuild automation frameworks with Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell or Python to reduce manual effort.\nReview and approve technical changes, and represent the team in change advisory meetings.\nMentor L1/L2 administrators and review their work.\nCommunicate clearly with client stakeholders on incidents, risks and service improvement plans.\nMaintain architecture documentation, runbooks and knowledge base articles.\nSkills required\n6+ years of hands-on administration of Linux (RHEL), Windows Server or IBM AIX in large production environments.\nProven experience leading OS migrations, upgrades or virtualization and cloud transitions.\nStrong expertise in VMware vSphere and/or Azure or AWS infrastructure.\nExpertise in high availability, clustering and disaster recovery.\nAdvanced scripting and automation using Ansible plus Shell, PowerShell or Python.\nStrong knowledge of storage (SAN/NAS, LVM), networking fundamentals, DNS, Active Directory or LDAP, and security hardening.\nStrong ITIL practices and experience owning major incidents and root-cause analysis.\nExcellent written and spoken communication skills for client-facing work.\nQualifications\n8 to 12 years of total experience, with at least 6 years of relevant system administration experience.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or an equivalent discipline.\nPreferred certifications: RHCSA or RHCE, Microsoft Certified (Windows Server or Azure Administrator), VMware VCP, AWS SysOps Administrator, and ITIL Foundation.\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise production environments.\nWillingness to support rotational shifts, on-call escalation and weekend change windows when required.\nAbility to work from the client office from day one.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.\nGood to have\nTerraform and infrastructure-as-code pipelines.\nKubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift administration.\nMiddleware administration (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss).\nIBM Power Systems: PowerVM, VIOS, NIM and LPAR management.\nWorkload automation tools such as Control-M.\nBenefits at Anovia\nComprehensive Health Insurance policy\nEmployee Wellness Program with focus on mental health\nRobust reward and recognition programs\nCompany incentive programs offered.\nAttractive leave policy: Holiday Leave, Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, Birthday leave, Bereavement Leave and Paid Leave for personal time off\nAmple growth and learning opportunities.\nRemote work opportunities\nFocus on work/life balance.\nImmigration Program supporting immigration to Canada for eligible employees.\nWe thank all candidates for their interest;
