This role requires a professional who can effectively monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless communication across IT infrastructure.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with firewalls, SD-WAN, routing & switching, and network monitoring tools, along with basic L1-level system administration skills. The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities, the capability to work under pressure, and a customer-focused mindset.\nResponsibilities:\nMonitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability\nDiagnose and resolve network issues in a timely manner\nWork with network team to implement hardware and software upgrades\nManage and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls\nDocument network issues and resolutions for future reference\nPerform routine network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations\nRespond to network outages and emergencies quickly to restore service\nCollaborate with other IT staff to improve and optimize network performance\nPerform regular network performance tuning and capacity planning\nEnsure compliance with network policies and security standards\nProvide network performance statistics and reports\nAssist in network design and capacity planning projects\nUtilize network management tools to monitor network traffic and security\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\nProven experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar network operations role.\nExperience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.\nCertification such as Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar.\nStrong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware, including Cisco core, distribution, and access switches (6800, 6500, 4500, 3850, 3750).\nHands-on experience with Cisco Nexus Series (5K, 7K, 9K) and SD-WAN solutions \nExperience with wireless systems such as Cisco (85xx/55xx/25xx/21xx), Aruba, Ruckus, and Aerohive.\nExpertise in routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.\nNetwork security experience with Palo Alto, ISE, and ACS.\nExperience with DHCP, DNS, and network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, NetBrain, Cisco Prime, CACTI, WhatsUp Gold, NNM, and Packet Shaper.\nProficiency in network device onboarding and working with Domotz for network monitoring and asset tracking.\nHands-on experience with ConnectWise for ticketing and issue management.\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and best practices.\nProficiency in scripting languages for network automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Unix scripting).\nExperience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.\nHands-on experience with network diagnostic and analytics tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\nAvailability to work in shifts and be on-call as needed.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to document
