Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.\nPosition Overview\nANSER is seeking a Senior All-Source Counterterrorism Intelligence Analyst to support the Habeas Corpus Support Contract. In this role, you will provide critical intelligence analysis and classification/declassification expertise in support of legal proceedings involving individuals currently or formerly detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (GTMO).\nKey Responsibilities\nReview classified Department of Defense (DoD) documents, assess classification requirements, and develop recommendations for declassification in accordance with applicable DoD security classification guidance.\nClosely coordinate with intelligence professionals, legal teams, Original Classification Authorities (OCAs), and interagency stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely handling of sensitive national security information.\nConduct classification and declassification reviews of DoD intelligence documents, including materials associated with GTMO detainee litigation and Office of Military Commissions proceedings.\nReview classified information and prepare documents for downgrading or declassification to Unclassified/For Official Use Only (U/FOUO) or Unclassified/Public Release levels, including supporting summaries and explanations.\nApply DoD security classification and declassification guides to evaluate the continued classification of sensitive information and develop recommendations for potential declassification.\nPrepare classified and unclassified intelligence summaries in coordination with OCAs or their designated representatives and attorneys supporting detainee litigation.\nIdentify and coordinate classification and declassification equities with DoD components, military departments, combatant commands, and other national-level agencies.\nCollaborate with legal, intelligence, and interagency stakeholders to resolve classification questions and support timely document reviews.\nProduce accurate, comprehensive, and well-supported analytical products while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.\nMaster's degree in any field and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis or classification/declassification reviews; OR a bachelor's degree in any field and a minimum of 17 years of relevant experience.\nDemonstrated experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis and/or classification and declassification activities.\nAbility to independently manage complex assignments while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and operating with moderate customer oversight.\nProven ability to develop comprehensive, accurate, and high-quality analytical products requiring minimal revisions or editorial corrections.\nStrong analytical, research, written communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to operate effectively in a deadline-driven environment involving sensitive national security information.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience conducting classification and declassification reviews across a broad range of intelligence and national security documents.\nFamiliarity with DoD classification guidance and procedures established by DoD Component Original Classification Authorities (OCAs) or their designated representatives.\nExperience identifying classified information, determining appropriate classification levels, and applying classification guidance to support declassification recommendations.\nExperience supporting interagency classification reviews, intelligence community coordination, or national security-related legal proceedings.\nIndividual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.
