Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.\nPosition Summary\nANSER is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division. The SCMS Division operates as the organic Lead Systems Integrator (oLSI®) and provides in-service engineering, maintenance, repair, and rebuild of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.\nIn this role, you will formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that supports management decision-making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions. You will collect and evaluate data, develop decision-support products and methodologies, and support Division objectives through analytical approaches and information-sharing practices.\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities\nFormulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information supporting management decision-making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions.\nCollect and evaluate data to support management decision-making and Division objectives.\nDevelop decision-support software, services, and/or products.\nDevelop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation, as applicable.\nDevelop appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address Division objectives and drive toward results.\nApply analytical methodologies and frameworks to support Division requirements and objectives.\nReinforce Division information-sharing objectives to support an environment focused on net-centricity, data sharing, and collaboration.\nSupport the use of data and analytical information to inform management functions and decision-making.\nDevelop and interpret analytical information using mathematical modeling and optimization methods.\nSupport program evaluation, review, and implementation through applicable analytical and optimization techniques.\nOnly candidates who currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance to job location (50 miles) will be considered. This positions requires hybrid work schedule with several days a week in the office.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive DoD Secret security clearance.\nMaster’s degree in any discipline plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; OR a bachelor’s degree plus 4 additional years of experience related to the position’s duties may substitute for a master’s degree.\nExperience applying mathematical modeling and optimizing methods to support management decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.\nExperience collecting and evaluating data to support analytical and decision-support activities.\nExperience developing or supporting decision-support software, services, and/or products.\nExperience developing or applying methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address organizational or Division objectives.\nAbility to apply analytical methods to support program evaluation, review, or implementation.\nAbility to support information-sharing objectives involving data sharing, collaboration, and net-centricity.\n Preferred Qualifications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience applying mathematical modeling, optimization, or other analytical methods in support of Government programs.\nExperience developing decision-support software, services, products, or other analytical solutions.\nExperience supporting program evaluation, review, or implementation through analytical methods.\nExperience developing methodologies, frameworks, and approaches for complex organizational objectives.\nExperience supporting data-sharing and collaborative information environments.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret and communicate analytical information effectively.\nAbility to work effectively in a customer-driven, mission-focused environment.\nIndividual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.
