You’ll work directly with the founding team in 1-2 week product sprints and own the outcome of every feature you build.\nThis role requires strong frontend experience, particularly in Next.js, as well as the ability to work independently across backend services and AI infrastructure.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, build, and ship features from scratch across frontend and backend.\nCreate polished user interfaces and seamless user experiences with React and Next.js.\nBuild AI-powered tools for search, citation mapping, summarization, and more.\nDevelop backend APIs using Python and FastAPI, with database logic in Postgres.\nWork with semantic search, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines for AI features.\nParticipate in fast product sprints with rapid feedback and tight iteration loops.\nTake full ownership of your work-from architecture to deployment to performance monitoring.\nRequirements\nBased in India and able to work remotely during U.S. working hours, with daily standups.\nFrontend: Strong skills in React and Next.js, with a clear eye for UI/UX.\nBackend: Proficient in Python, with hands-on experience using FastAPI in production.\nAI infrastructure: Familiarity with LLM pipelines, RAG frameworks, and vector databases such as FAISS, Weaviate, or Pinecone.\nDatabases: Solid experience with Postgres and database design.\nStyling/UI: Experience using Tailwind or a similar utility-first CSS framework.\nWorkflow tools: Proficient with Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.\nAcademic context: Understanding of citation networks, research tooling, or academic workflows.\nCompensation\n₹20-35 lakh/year, depending on experience and ownership scope.
