Frontend Engineer - React / TypeScript

Kraków | Hybrid (2 days per week from the office)

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join a regional EMEA technology team working on the Global Disbursements platform - a large-scale payments system enabling customers and businesses to move funds quickly and securely across markets.

What you will be doing:

Develop, maintain and support front-end applications and microservices
Work with React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5
Build and support services in collaboration with backend teams using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot
Contribute to improving observability and operational tooling for payment flows
Support automation testing frameworks to reduce testing costs
Enhance Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities of services
Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps teams in an Agile environment

What we are looking for:

At least 6 months of experience in the payments/disbursements area
Strong knowledge of React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5
Experience with Java 8+ (Java 17+ is a plus)
Working understanding of RESTful microservices and APIs
Experience with SQL and database technologies
Previous experience with legacy UX technologies (e.g., JSP)
Understanding of DevOps ways of working

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot
Experience working in DevOps delivery teams
Familiarity with legacy UI technologies
