Senior KYC Implementation Consultant
Warsaw | Hybrid/75% remote | Temporary contract until June 2027
For our Client, an international organization from the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior KYC Implementation Consultant to support a temporary project focused on implementing regulatory changes and enhancing KYC processes and procedures.
This is a fixed-term assignment planned until the end of June 2027, suitable for someone with strong KYC/AML expertise who enjoys working on the process, regulatory and implementation side rather than purely operational KYC activities.
Your responsibilities:
Analyse new AML/CTF regulatory requirements and internal banking regulations.
Translate regulatory requirements into practical changes to KYC processes, procedures and working instructions.
Design, review and improve end-to-end KYC processes.
Support areas including CDD, EDD, PEP, customer risk assessment, Adverse Media Screening and periodic reviews.
Prepare and update procedures, guidelines and instructions for operational KYC teams.
Assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing processes, roles and operational activities.
Identify process gaps, dependencies and potential implementation risks.
Cooperate with KYC/AML experts, project teams and Financial Crime Prevention stakeholders.
Support the implementation of process changes and ensure that updated KYC processes work effectively end to end.
What we are looking for:
Strong professional experience in KYC, AML/CTF or Financial Crime Prevention, ideally within the banking sector.
Practical experience in designing, improving or implementing KYC processes and procedures.
Very good understanding of CDD, EDD, PEP, Adverse Media Screening and customer risk assessment.
Experience in translating regulatory requirements into operational processes and procedures.
Experience in preparing KYC guidelines, procedures or working instructions.
Strong understanding of end-to-end KYC processes.
Ability to analyse regulatory requirements and identify their impact on existing processes.
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in an international and cross-functional environment.
