An ability to manage multiple tasks while working under strict time deadlines is essential. Our ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail-orientated, inquisitive, and confident analyzing data and conveying conclusions\nResponsibilities\nDevelop financial models and perform valuations across debt and equity investments\nSynthesize data to support, challenge, and reconcile conclusions, including back testing and stress testing\nIdentify, evaluate, and present trends and performance drivers relevant to our business\nCoordinate activities and create materials for the Antares Valuation Committee\nDirect 3rd party valuation firm process including information sharing, report review, and data collection\nPropose and apply valuation industry best practice topics to internal and external valuation review\nProvide subject matter expertise to valuation-related projects, such as regulatory reviews, new business initiatives, audit, etc.\nSupport the development and implementation of new valuation models and data repositories\nCollaborate across functions including Capital Markets, Credit, Deal Originations, Marketing, and Asset Management teams\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business\n3-5 years of related work experience\nAt least 2 years of direct experience utilizing valuation techniques and methodologies including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, and precedent transactions, within a valuation, investment banking, commercial banking, or financial research firm\nStrong ability to analyze and evaluate data, formulate accurate conclusions, and clearly recommend solutions\nDemonstrated knowledge of financial modeling including experience building models from scratch\nExcellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills\nStrong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision\nFinance or accounting designation such as CFA, CPA preferred\nTHE FINE PRINT\nMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States\nMust be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check\nMust be willing to work from the New York office and travel as necessary\nAntares is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
