This position will also oversee financial accounting of equity purchases and sales under equity purchase programs, and will work closely with the tax and HR teams on tracking relevant data. The role supports the FP&A team during annual budget processes and monthly forecast updates.\nOur ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail-orientated and able to analyze data and convey conclusions effectively.\nResponsibilities\nEstablish monthly accounting processes and procedures for the tracking of incentive compensation and equity plans. Post all relevant entries to the general ledger.\nSupport activities which provide analysis, financial modeling and internal reporting to support the company’s financial performance.\nAccess appropriate data from new and existing systems and work across departments to complete reports and assignments.\nPrepare quarterly footnotes and compensation schedules for leadership and Board\nParticipate and support activities related to “what if” scenario and sensitivity analyses for new and existing business functions and product lines.\nWork seamlessly with HR and FP&A teams to understand financial trends (actuals vs. budget), perform variance analysis and complete other financial reporting projects.\nLiaise with JPM Workplace Solutions Team\nEnhance controls and document SOPs around processes\nImplement carried interest software solution along with HR\nAssist with quarterly reviews and annual audits around compensation areas.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred\n7+ years of Compensation accounting experience\nExperience preparing footnotes and equity roll forwards\nStrong understanding of GAAP and financial controls\nProficiency in financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, DFIN, JPM Workplace Solutions)\nDemonstrated leadership and team development skills\nExcellent analytical and communication abilities\nSkills\nStrong critical thinking and professional judgment\nProcess improvement and operational excellence mindset\nRisk assessment and problem-solving skills\nAttention to detail\nTechnology and data-driven decision making\nExcellent analytical, project management, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.\nCompetencies\nTechnical Expertise: Financial reporting, accounting principles, compensation accounting\nCollaboration: Cross-functional partnership\nProcess Improvement: Efficiency and control enhancements\nSystems Proficiency: OneStream, Microsoft, JPM Workplace Solution and DFIN\nAudit & Controls: External audit coordination and internal controls\nStrategic Thinking: Transformation and planning\nCommunication: Clear stakeholder engagement\nThe FinePrint\nHave unrestricted authorization to work in the United States\nComply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check\nWilling to work from the New York office and travel as necessary\nAntares is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
