procedures.\n\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, database administrators and application support teams to implement system enhancements.\n\nMandatory Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.\n5 years of relevant experience in software development, application maintenance or technical support.\nHands-on programming knowledge of Java, Core Java, OOP and Java Collections Framework.\nProficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, joins, subqueries, stored procedures and functions.\nPractical experience with Oracle or Sybase databases.\nWorking knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and Shell scripting (Bash/Ksh).\nExperience with batch processing, scheduled jobs, file handling and data validation.\nKnowledge of debugging, log analysis, exception handling and application troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with unit testing, integration testing, Git version control and software development life cycle (SDLC).\nBasic knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Waterfall development methodologies.\nGood analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.\n\nPreferred SkillsExposure to banking applications, financial transaction processing or enterprise systems.\n\nFamiliarity with job scheduling tools, batch monitoring and file transfer protocols such as SFTP.\n\nBasic understanding of application
