As Operations Manager, you'll tackle challenges across the business and see them through from start to finish. This might involve helping teams work better together, setting up new systems, or making sure projects get completed. As the company grows, your responsibilities will change too. We're looking for someone who likes variety and can learn fast.\nYou'll report to our VP of Operations and work with all our teams, including engineering, clinical, Frontier, GTM, and finance. Since we sell AI, we use it in our own work too. We want you to automate your tasks first, then help others do the same. Our team works together in person in NYC, five days a week. As the company grows, this role can become a key part of our operations team.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn projects across the business. Work with the VP of Operations and team leads to tackle the problems that matter most as we grow. Figure out the problem, recommend a practical approach, and see it through, whether that's improving a process, coordinating a rollout, or sorting out something we've never dealt with before.\n\nOwn IT and business systems. Manage identity and access (Rippling, Okta), provisioning and deprovisioning, devices and inventory, AI tooling and API access, and SaaS spend. Make one-click onboarding and offboarding real.\n\nKeep us compliant and audit-ready. Run SOC 2 Type 2 and HITRUST evidence collection with engineering and our compliance vendors. Answer customer security questionnaires and keep our policies current (BCP, DR, privacy, code of conduct).\n\nBuild the operating system. Maintain how work is organized and tracked (charge codes, project spaces, contract and BAA/SLA trackers). Run the weekly ops cadence. Write the SOPs that let processes run without you.\n\nManage vendors and contracts. Be the admin owner for operational vendors: scope, negotiate, renew, or cancel.\n\nPartner with our Head of People. Support the operational side of onboarding and offboarding and some recruiting coordination where needed. Our Head of People leads the employee lifecycle and recruiting; your main focus is broader company operations.\n\nAutomate relentlessly. Turn repeated work into Claude skills, scripts and integrations, and measure the time it gives back.\n\nWe're Looking For\nWe're looking for an ambitious generalist who wants to take on real responsibility and help build the company. In particular:\nOwn the outcome. You take initiative, follow through, and keep people informed. When something gets difficult, you work through it and flag problems early.\n\nBring intensity and good judgment. You move quickly, work reliably under pressure, and stay constructive when priorities change. People enjoy working with you, even on difficult days.\n\nCare about the details. You produce work others can rely on and know where getting something right matters most. You also know when it's good enough to move forward.\n\nLearn quickly and openly. You ask good questions, seek out expertise, take feedback well, and change your mind when the evidence calls for it.\n\nMake the team better. You're willing to do the unglamorous work and leave behind tools and processes that make things easier for everyone.\n\nExperience and skills\nAround 3-5 years of experience in consulting, business operations, or another demanding generalist role. You might have spent 3-4 years in consulting and then a year at a startup. We'd value that combination, but care more about what you've taken ownership of and delivered than a particular career path.\n\nYou can bring structure to an unclear problem, work through the numbers, and make a clear recommendation. You're equally comfortable doing the hands-on work to put it into practice.\n\nExperience with business systems or security compliance is useful, but you don't need to have done every part of this role before.\n\nYou already use AI to do your job better and enjoy finding ways to reduce manual work.
