Includes the following and other duties as assigned.\nUnder limited guidance, this position will:\nSupervise work to ensure all employees and contractors comply with safety processes and procedures as well as NEC code. \nSupervise and coordinate all instrumentation and electrical duties including commissioning and maintenance of all I&E equipment, field communication network, SCADA development and maintenance. \nTrain staff to use and understand the principles of operation of all meters and instruments used and applicable to I&E processes. \nParticipate in the Pre-Start Safety Review (PSSR) process with other teams to audit and check for completion. \nResponsible for the constant monitoring and evaluation of instrumentation and electrical related rules, regulations, and parameters. \nDevelop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Best Management Practices (BMPs), and task specific procedures that will ensure safe operations of I&E team and facilities. \nPartner with the contractors to design and improve software. Help plan and build internal expertise on programming and developing software. \nAnticipate, evaluate, and troubleshoot abnormal and/ or unusual operating conditions to ensure safe and efficient operations. \nIdentify and analyze failures, indicate underlying issues, and perform Root Cause Failure Analysis as necessary. \nMaintain daily costs and meet OPEX/ CAPEX budget expectations. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nAt least five (5) years of natural gas industry and/ or Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) experience. \nAt least one (1) year of professional management or supervisory experience. \nCORE COMPETENCIES\nList and describe the required factors (i.e. knowledge, skills, abilities, software programs), that are needed for this role.\nGood understanding of the Instrumentation & Electrical programming software.\nGood working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, API RP 500, and American Gas Association standards.\nProficient with AC and DC voltage systems and associated circuitry. \nProficient with all aspects of Programmable Logic Controllers and RTUs. \nStrong knowledge of piping and instrument diagrams, signal flow diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, one-line drawings, loop sheets, and wire lists. \nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, etc. and use/ operation of standard office equipment. \nGood verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers, and vendors. \nGood collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead. \nAble to present, demonstrate, teach or guide others in performance of assigned work. \nAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and foster and encourage teamwork. \nAbility to effectively work with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.\nSAFETY SENSITIVE RELATED\nIf applicable. Supervises two (2) or more Full-Time Employees regularly.\nResponsible for regularly making decisions and/or recommendations concerning:\nInterviewing/hiring.\nMentoring/ongoing training.\nSetting or adjusting work hours.\nPlan, appoint, and direct the work.\nAppraise performance/productivity and efficiency.\nRecommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status.\nHandle complaints/grievances and disciplinary issues.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
