At Antheia, you can expect to be inspired by the science, by your teammates, and by the opportunity we have to bring about change in the pharmaceutical industry. \nThe scope of the Research Associate DSP includes understanding fate of impurities, product stability and\ndegradation mechanisms, identifying unit operations and key parameters to establish operating ranges\nand meet target COGs. This position will require managing unit operations and collecting data towards\ndeveloping scalable processes to separate and purify bio-derived Starting Materials and APIs from bench\nto Pilot scale. Laboratory skills in sample preparation and analysis, Liquid-Solid separation, Liquid-Liquid\nseparation are required. A successful incumbent will work cross-functionally with Biology, Analytics,\nOperations, Quality and Regulatory departments to support the team in developing sustainable\nprocesses that produce in specification products in the timelines established.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nComply with safety protocols and ensure the safety of co-workers\nComply with Regulatory and DEA requirements when required for handling, disposal and documentation\nSupport project teams to deliver on project goals\nPerform studies following experimental protocols\nRun regular unit operations and data collection for analysis\nPreparation of samples for Analytical methods\nMaintain equipment\nWork cross functionally and provide documentation for transparency and reports\nPerform other duties as assigned \nQualifications\nB.S. in Chemistry, or applicable area of study 2+ years industry experience\nAnalytical and compound isolation laboratory experience\nHands on experience with bench scale filtration, evaporation and crystallization\nExperience with Microsoft Excel\nExperience writing reports\nAnalytical Chemistry experience with HPLC/UPLC a plus.\nThe base compensation for this role is $80K - $100K based on demonstrated relevant skills and experience. \nFor full-time employees in the United States, Antheia offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
