An interest in sustainability and experience in multicultural environments further enhance effectiveness in this role.\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Planning and Execution\nPlan, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality\nLead the definition, creation, and execution of manual test cases for functional, UI/UX, API, regression, and compatibility testing. Conduct various types of testing, including UI, load, integration, regression, and API endpoint testing, ensuring a thorough evaluation of software. \nCollaboration and Requirement Analysis\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and prioritize testing efforts. \nActively participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure alignment with team goals. \nAnalyze user stories and use cases for validity and feasibility, providing feedback to enhance testing coverage. \nTesting Automation and Process Improvement\nAutomate tests where possible to improve efficiency and effectiveness. \nDevelop and maintain best practices and processes to enhance testing methodologies. \nDefect Management and Troubleshooting\nReport and track defects using bug tracking tools and assist with debugging and troubleshooting. \nCollaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects efficiently. \nTicket Management and Documentation\nManage testing priorities by coordinating with Product Owners to prioritize testing tickets based on project requirements. \nOversee Jira maintenance, ensuring accurate tracking of testing progress, results, and defects. \nProvide detailed documentation to support testing efforts and assist in project management. \nSupport and Mentoring\nOffer operational support, including DevOps and helpdesk assistance as needed. \nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development.\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. \nWith 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience and at least 3 years of manual testing experience.\nAdvanced knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.\nStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes with experience in crossfunctional team collaboration. \nExtensive experience in API testing (RESTful, SOAP), functional testing, UI/UX testing, crossbrowser testing, regression testing, and web accessibility testing. Proficiency in testing tools such as XRay, Postman, JMeter, Selenium, and Jira. \nExperience in creating and managing automation frameworks using languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated test execution. \nStrong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with branching strategies. \nExpertise in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) with the ability to document and communicate issues effectively. \nBasic knowledge of SQL for database querying and backend validation. \nFamiliarity with scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell, or Python for automation tasks.
