Learn more at anthonysylvan.com.\nAbout the Role\nIn this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping renovation projects moving forward by addressing a wide range of construction, service, and maintenance needs for pools. You’ll handle hands-on repairs, troubleshoot equipment and accessories, and help resolve renovation-related challenges as they arise. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and seeing the direct results of their work while contributing to high-quality renovation outcomes and a positive customer experience.\n General Summary of Position\nResponsible for addressing all construction, service, and maintenance related to the renovation challenges/needs to pools, including minor repairs, maintenance and repair of pool equipment and accessories.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nPerform advanced water testing and chemical balancing to maintain proper pool conditions\nDiagnose, repair, and replace swimming pool equipment as needed\nSafely handle, transport, deliver, and apply pool chemicals in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all pool services performed\nCommunicate effectively with Schedulers, the Renovation Coordinator, and the Renovation Construction Manager to provide recommendations related to customer claim and renovation issues\nMaintain working knowledge of Anthony & Sylvan pool equipment and maintenance services, and support discussions with customers as needed\nMaintain company vehicle cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory accuracy; assist with in-field training of new technicians and complete unforeseen tasks that arise during pool renovations\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma/GED preferred\nLicenses/Certifications\nNESP CMS & CMT preferred.\nValid driver’s license required.\nYears of Experience\nOne to three years’ technical experience in the service industry required.\nGeneral pool background preferred.\nWater chemistry preferred.\nRequired Skills & Abilities\nMechanical aptitude & problem solving.\nStrong organizational and communication skills; quick learner with attention to detail, results-driven mindset, customer focus, and ability to work effectively as a self-motivated team player\nProficient with Pro Edge to obtain daily schedule and tasks.\nAbility to use iPhone or other similar technologies.\nTravel Requirements\nMust be willing to travel 90- 100%\nOther Requirements\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions\nAbility to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; often greater than 30 pounds\nAbility to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl\nAbility to operate heavy machinery or tools (with or without assistive devices)\nAbility to wear required PPE (e.g., hard hats, safety boots, gloves)\nAbility to communicate promptly and clearly via phone and computer\nAbility to drive or travel between job sites as needed\nACKNOWLEDGEMENT\nPosition duties and expectations change over time.
