The Sales Engineer will be responsible for new business development and the support of current customers throughout the UK. The successful candidate will join a motivated, international team.\n Generation of new accounts and management of existing customers through prospecting, lead generation and follow up.\nEffective territory management with direct responsibility for sales projects and negotiations.\nSupport the development of customer applications.\nParticipation at conferences and exhibitions.\nSupport the development of marketing communications with customers.\nVisiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment.\n Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics, life science or related discipline.\nAt least three years’ experience of successfully selling analytical instruments.
