Project-based with flexible hours\nCompensation: US$80-US$150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements\nResponsibilities\nCreate tasks involving bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.\n\nDevelop reference solutions with accurate calculations, supporting documentation, and clearly explained accounting treatment.\n\nEvaluate agents classifying transactions, reconciling accounts, correcting discrepancies, and preparing accounting reports.\n\nDesign scenarios involving incomplete records, duplicate transactions, misclassified expenses, and period-end adjustments.\n\nDefine evaluation criteria for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability to source documents.\n\nIdentify accounting errors, unsupported assumptions, and mistakes in agents’ use of accounting tools.\n\nRequirements\nDegree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise.\n\n3+ years of experience in accounting.\n\nStrong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statements.\n\nExperience with month-end closing and applying relevant accounting standards.\n\nProficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and accounting software.\n\nFluent English, with strong written communication skills.\n\nPreferred qualifications\nCPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.\n\nExperience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, or comparable platforms.\n\nExperience managing accounting records across multiple businesses or industries.\n\nExperience reviewing accounting work and documenting
