This role is a hybrid of network, customer success, forward deployment, embedded systems, and software engineering. You will play a critical role in installing embedded devices at customer sites to facilitate advanced space missions, managing data flow through software-defined radios (SDRs), and ensuring robust performance of network systems.\nResponsibilities\nInstall and configure embedded devices at customer sites.\n\nProvide technical support and guidance to customers during installation and deployment processes.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of RF technologies with customer systems.\n\nDevelop and maintain networking protocols and software for embedded Linux, cloud, and lab environments.\n\nEnsure the reliability and performance of network systems in terrestrial and space applications.\n\nImplement and manage containerized services for network operations.\n\nProvide feedback on architecture, design, and code to ensure software systems meet requirements.\n\nContribute to the instrumentation and optimization of communication software.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n4+ years of experience in developing software for Linux-based systems.\n\nExpertise in C++, C, and/or Python.\n\nExperience with GNURadio.\n\nStrong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, etc.).\n\nExperience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and RF technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).\n\nProven ability to write production-quality code.\n\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams effectively.\n\nKnowledge of digital signal processing and embedded systems.\n\nFormal education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n\nCompensation\nExpected Base Salary Range: $130-200k\nIn order to comply with the space technology export rules of the U.S. Government, such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), it is necessary to be a U.S. citizen, a lawful U.S. permanent resident, a protected individual as specified by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or possess eligibility to secure the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
