We’re building a flexible, high-performance platform that’s easy to deploy, monitor, and scale - enabling customers to bring advanced radio technologies to life faster than ever before.\nThe Role\nThe PCB Designer will own the full design-to-release cycle (placement, routing, stackups, libraries, fab/assembly docs) in Altium, focusing on signal integrity, grounding, and RF/microwave expertise. You will work with RF and Electrical Engineers to determine manufacturability outcomes on demanding boards.\nResponsibilities\nOwn PCB placement, routing, review, and manufacturing release.\n\nDesign multilayer RF, mixed-signal, high-speed digital, and power boards.\n\nDefine stackups, controlled impedances, routing constraints, and via structures.\n\nCreate and maintain Altium symbols, footprints, and component libraries.\n\nGenerate fabrication and assembly documentation.\n\nWork with fabricators and contract manufacturers to resolve DFM and production issues.\n\nRequired Skills\n3+ years of professional PCB layout experience.\n\nStrong proficiency with Altium Designer.\n\nExpert in DFM/DFA/DFT principles PCB fabrication and SMT assembly.\n\nExperience with RF and microwave layouts, including controlled-impedance transmission lines, matching networks, RF isolation, ground stitching, via fencing, and shielding.\n\nUnderstanding of grounding, return paths, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and power distribution.\n\nAbility to read schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings.\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience with FPGA or RFSoC systems, DDR memory, PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204, high-speed SerDes, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and precision clock distribution.\n\nExperience with HDI, microvias, via-in-pad, or backdrilling.\n\nExperience with Ansys SIwave, HyperLynx, Sigrity, or similar PCB analysis tools.\n\nExperience with Altium 365, managed libraries, component lifecycle management, release workflows, and version control.\n\nAerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronics experience.\n\nUnderstanding of IPC Class 3 requirements.\n\nCompensation\nThe estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000-$140,000 per year, plus equity. This range reflects our good-faith estimate for this position at the time of posting. The final base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and market considerations.
