You will work with a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communications systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and own RF products across PCB, box, and integration levels\n\nOwn trades and analyses on new designs and question requirements\n\nBring up, troubleshoot, and qualify new designs\n\nCollaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to enable large-scale manufacture of products\n\nRequired Skills\n3+ years of experience designing circuitry in RF bands across frontend and conversion chains\n\nEnd-to-end PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, fabrication and assembly\n\nExperience with electronic design and analysis tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer\n\nExcellent understanding of RF metrics such as S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, channel power, and EVM\n\nExcellent understanding of RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis\n\nExperience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, VNAs, spectrum analyzers)\n\nExperience with low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, phased locked loops, oscillators, and filters\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience building complex PCBs in Altium Designer\n\nExperience selecting components for radiation-susceptible environments\n\nExperience working with AD9361, Xilinx RFSoC, and similar digital-analog conversion interfaces\n\nSolid experience soldering and reworking boards (0402 SMP components, QFN packages)\n\nExperience performing communications link modeling and solid understanding of DSP fundamentals\n\nKnowledge of antenna design, simulation, and measurement in near-field/far-field regimes\n\nExperience working with high-PAPR signals and knowledge of DPD concepts\n\nCompensation\nThe estimated base salary range for this role is $130,000-$180,000 per year, plus equity. This range reflects our good-faith estimate for this position at the time of posting. The final base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and market considerations.
