We’re building a flexible, high-performance platform that’s easy to deploy, monitor, and scale, enabling customers to bring advanced radio technologies to life faster than ever before.\nThe Role\nWe’re hiring a Software Engineer to develop the software that connects, operates, and scales our ground network.\nThis role sits at the intersection of software, networking, and cloud infrastructure. You will build distributed services that connect ground stations, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing systems, while helping ensure the network remains reliable, observable, and scalable as it grows.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and operate software that supports AnySignal’s ground network across cloud and edge environments\n\nBuild backend services and APIs used to operate and manage the software and hardware that delivers data from ground stations to customers\n\nDeploy and operate containerized services using Kubernetes\n\nBuild software that analyzes and optimizes links between spacecraft and the ground\n\nWrite software that handles configuration and data handling for a variety of ground radios\n\nBuild and maintain logging, monitoring, and observability infrastructure across the fleet\n\nTroubleshoot software, networking, and infrastructure issues across cloud and deployed hardware environments\n\nContribute to system architecture as the ground network scales across additional stations and infrastructure\n\nWork cross-functionally with ground hardware, RF, space software, and other engineering teams\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nMust-Haves:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field\n\nStrong software engineering experience in Python, Go, or a similar programming language\n\nStrong experience developing and operating software on Linux\n\nExperience building backend services, APIs, or distributed systems\n\nExperience developing and operating software in AWS or similar cloud environments\n\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols, including TCP/IP\n\nExperience troubleshooting network connectivity and distributed software systems\n\nExperience with logging, monitoring, observability, and production software reliability\n\nExperience with automated testing and software validation\n\nAbility to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving engineering environment\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience deploying and operating containerized applications using Kubernetes\n\nExperience with satellite ground systems, satellite communications, or telecommunications infrastructure\n\nExperience developing software deployed across both cloud and edge environments\n\nExperience with scheduling, orchestration, or resource-management systems\n\nExperience developing software that interfaces with or operates physical infrastructure\n\nUnderstanding of electrical, RF, networking, or communications systems\n\nExperience working in an early-stage or high-growth engineering environment\n\nCompensation\nThe estimated base salary range for this role is $130,000-$200,000 per year, plus equity. This range reflects our good-faith estimate for this position at the time of posting.
