The engineer will be part of a squad and collaborate with other members of the tribe to deliver business outcomes using the agile methodology.\nYou will deeply understand engineering and the One Customer View (OCV) technology environment to increase the quality and efficiency of the outcomes being delivered by the squads as well ensuring the stability of systems.\nThe role will ensure that the OCV platform runs at scale efficiently and more reliably. You will strive to have a complete understanding of the platform, its functions and dependencies, code and configuration, playing a hands-on role.\nBrings strong technical expertise and engineering discipline to contribute effectively within the team. I am curious about what’s happening in the external market and in emerging trends and innovations (technological and otherwise) and how we use this information to better inform our decisions and actions.\nRisk savvy - I build sustainable solutions that protect stakeholders and customers and proactively address risks by role-modelling improvements in the bank’s overall risk and control environment.\nWhat will you bring?\nMust have 8+years relevant experience.\nHands on experience in IBM Information server - Infosphere DataStage 11.5 Parallel edition\nGood understanding on Metadata and data lineage\nSolid knowledge of database concepts. Oracle and Teradata preferred.\nHands on experience on Shell Scripting, Stored procedures.\nStrong understanding of Infosphere DataStage design and run time architecture including near real time data integrations.\nKnowledge on Control-M, Connect Direct architecture patterns\nUnderstanding of mainframe EBCDIC files and Cobol copybooks multi layouts (read & write)\nBasics of Message queues and XML/XSD parsing in DataStage\nAble to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Performance Engineering with problem solving and troubleshooting skills\nExperience with Agile development methodology.\nGood understanding and exposure on GitHub, GHA, Confluence and Jira.\nGood to have Skills:\nAdditional expertise in QlikView/Qlik Sense, Python, ANZ technology platforms, GCP, and AI technologies would be advantageous for the role.\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
