Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.\nRole Location: ANZ Bank, London United Kingdom\nRole Type: Full-time; Permanent\nWhat will your day look like?\nDrive the profitability and growth of the Bank’s Commodities business across the E&A customer franchise.\nOriginate and execute commodity transactions, identifying opportunities that meet customer needs and support business objectives.\nBuild, deepen, and expand relationships across the E&A customer franchise.\nLead new client onboarding activities, including credit limit establishment and related approvals.\nManage commodity orders during London and broader Northern Hemisphere dealing hours.\nDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Research & Analysis, Finance, Legal, and Mid and Back Office teams.\nFoster a collaborative culture by sharing best practices and promoting strong professional partnerships across businesses and regions.\nDemonstrate a high level of engagement, accountability, and performance in achieving business outcomes.\nEnsure all OTC transactions are executed within approved counterparty credit limits.\nAdhere to all operational, risk, and compliance requirements when executing and recording transactions.\nMaintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and ANZ policies, both personally and across the broader business.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:\nExtensive commodities experience gained within a global commodity trading house, trading bank, or investment bank\nStrong network and established relationships across commodities markets.\nProven track record in solutions based financial derivative engineering and numeracy\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nDeep knowledge of commodity products and market knowledge\nStrong stakeholder management and client relationship skills\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
