Role Type: Permanent

Role Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

Work Hours: Full time

What will your day look like?

As an Executive Assistant, you are accountable for:

  • Delivering administrative and operational support across the team, ensuring priorities are effectively managed and aligned to business needs.
  • Coordinating team planning days, events, and other key activities as required.
  • Managing and tracking operational invoices associated with the day-to-day running of the function.
  • Building strong relationships and collaborating with stakeholders across Property and the broader Bank.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving issues, removing roadblocks, and supporting smooth team operations.
  • Managing and monitoring the team's operational assets and resources.
  • Tracking team-level operational risks, dependencies, and key actions to support effective delivery.
  • Providing proactive, collaborative support to colleagues to help foster a high-performing and engaged team environment.
  • Working closely with other Executive Assistants to share knowledge, learn from successes and challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A positive, proactive team player who puts employee experience first.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and the confidence to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering practical outcomes.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to sharing knowledge and best practice.
  • A continuous improvement focus, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive positive change.

You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
