They can communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences. This role is required to have a deep understanding of upcoming initiatives which would impact the business and provide input into the potential for fraud exposure. This role is a mentoring role where you will be required to shape, drive and guide the more junior members of the team.\nRole Type: Permanent/ Full-time\nRole Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands, VIC 3008\nWork Hours: 40 Hours/week\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs a Fraud Scam Prevention Analyst, you will:\nMinimise ANZ’s exposure to fraud, identify trends and areas for opportunity to improve rules and strategies relating to Application and Origination Fraud\nActively collaborate with other functions such as Fraud Operations to facilitate effective design of detection controls in support of business risk appetite\nMinimise customer disturbance in the detection of fraud through efficient detection and prevention techniques with low False positive ratios and minimisation of unnecessary account restrictions\nMaintain metrics with a focus of continuous improvement including automation and innovation initiatives whilst ensuring all reporting is delivered in a timely and highly accurate manner\nImplementation of strategic and tactical response to fraud and scam threats by way of our Fraud Prevention and detection solutions and services\nDevelop and maintain strong working relationship with business stakeholders to drive strategies to mitigate fraud risk in existing processes and new initiatives\nOperational delivery of strategy, roadmap and initiatives as they relate to fraud and scam analytics\nProvide subject matter expertise, mentorship and coaching to other members of the analytics team to assist delivery of strategies and tactics.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\nAt least 3 years’ experience working in Fraud, Financial Crime or Credit Risk\nExperience working with large and complex datasets\nStrong stakeholder management skills\nProven strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communication skills\nAdvanced technical skills experience with SQL & Analytical language (SAS, R, Python etc)\nExtensive banking product and Industry knowledge\nSo why join us?\nFrom the moment you join ANZ, you'll be doing meaningful work that will shape a world where people and communities thrive.\nBut it's not just our customers who'll feel your impact.
