Working closely with security, technology and risk stakeholders, the role helps shape cyber security strategy, technology investment, resilience outcomes and risk management priorities, whilst contributing to enterprise architecture outcomes across the Bank through collaboration with peer architecture leaders, the GM Enterprise Architect and the Group Chief Architect.\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs the GM Architecture - Information Security, you are accountable for:\nLeading architecture across the Information Security portfolio, including strategy, target states, roadmaps and architecture outcomes.\nProviding oversight of portfolio capabilities, ensuring Lead Architects effectively govern capability evolution and the associated platforms, products, services and technology assets.\nPartnering with the Chief Information Security Officer and leadership team to provide architecture leadership, strategic advice and decision support across cyber security, resilience, regulatory and technology initiatives.\nOperating portfolio architecture governance and acting as the primary architecture decision authority for significant initiatives and investments.\nEnsuring architecture resources are effectively deployed to meet portfolio demand, delivery commitments and strategic priorities, whilst resolving capacity, capability and prioritisation constraints.\nLeading, developing and growing a high-performing architecture workforce, including capability development, succession planning and practice consistency.\nCollaborating with peer architecture leaders to ensure cross-domain alignment, integration and enterprise coherence.\nContributing to enterprise architecture artefacts, standards, roadmaps and governance processes and ensuring architecture perspectives, priorities and requirements from the Information Security portfolio are effectively represented in enterprise architecture, investment and technology decision-making forums.\nIdentifying and managing architecture risks, technical debt, resilience concerns and strategic technology issues.\nRepresenting architecture within portfolio leadership, investment and governance forums.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\nOver 20 years of IT experience, including nearly 10 years leading architecture functions within large, complex enterprise environments.\n\nStrong understanding of security architecture, cyber resilience, risk management and regulatory obligations.\nStrong understanding of business, enterprise and technology architecture practices.\nExperience defining architecture strategies, target states, roadmaps and investment priorities.\nDemonstrated people leadership experience, including workforce planning, capability development and succession planning.\nStrong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience partnering with CIOs, senior technology leaders and business executives.\nExperience operating governance forums and influencing strategic technology decisions.\nAbility to balance business outcomes, technology risk, delivery priorities and enterprise objectives.\nStrong commercial, strategic and systems-thinking capabilities.\nExperience within cyber security, information security or risk management functions.\nExperience supporting resilience, regulatory or security transformation initiatives.\nExperience contributing to enterprise architecture strategy and governance.\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
