Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs an Mainframe Engineer in Domestic System, you will:\nThis role will require carrying out the first level application support and also managing the application that is supported to meet the SLA and all NFR and audit requirements\nPerform analysis and translation of business requirements into functional/non-functional system specifications/stories,\nPerform the impact analysis of change, estimating, performing peer reviews, communication with business customers and stakeholders\nkey role in supporting solutions through consulting, analysis and design phase of the SDLC for the purposes of developing new and/or enhancing the applications.\nThe role also requires the incumbent to lead and mentor the less experienced Engineers and drive improvement in the engineering competency as well as managing process improvement.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\n4+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Application Maintenance and Production Support.\nStrong experience in development and production support using technologies Cobol, CICS, JCL, IMS, VSAM, SAS, DB2.\nExperience with DevOps, CI/CD setup, Git Source Control\nProven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.\nAbility to identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses\nStrong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to provide timely and accurate updates on work progress and project status.\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
