Working closely with business and risk stakeholders, you’ll help ensure arrangements are assessed, monitored and managed in line with ANZ’s policies, risk appetite and regulatory obligations.\nThis is a collaborative role that brings together risk expertise, sound judgement and strong relationship skills. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for your portfolio, supporting stakeholders to navigate requirements, strengthen controls and make well-informed risk decisions.\nRole Type: Permanent\nRole Location: Wellington or Auckland\nWork Hours: Standard, 37.5 hours per week\nKa aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?\nYou will be responsible for:\nProviding practical outsourcing and service provider risk advice to business and risk stakeholders\nAssessing, monitoring and reporting on arrangements in line with ANZ’s risk appetite and policy requirements\nSupporting outsourcing assessments, policy exceptions, risk acceptances and issue remediation\nDelivering targeted reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and compliance\nProviding insights on outsourcing risks, incidents and regulatory requirements\nSupporting annual planning, risk certification, attestations and related reporting\nBuilding stakeholder capability through guidance, training and practical toolkits\nContributing to a connected, supportive team culture and sharing ideas that improve the way we work\nŌu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:\nExperience in operational, compliance, outsourcing or third-party risk management\nAn understanding of risk management frameworks, controls and policy requirements\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the judgement to work through complex or competing issues\nClear and considered communication skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders\nA proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage priorities and follow issues through to resolution\nConfidence working independently while contributing openly and collaboratively across a wider team\nCuriosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
