You will work closely with Payroll, ECHR, Technology, Governance, and external vendors to manage payroll system changes, enhancements, testing, and process improvements. Whatever your role at ANZ, you'll be building your future, while helping to build ours.\nRole Type: Permanent, Full-time\nRole Location: Bengaluru, India\nWork Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility required to support as per business requirements\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs a Payroll Specialist , you will:\nGather and document payroll business requirements to support system enhancements, regulatory changes, and payroll initiatives.\nSupport the implementation, testing, and optimisation of payroll solutions, including SuccessFactors and third-party payroll platforms.\nExecute and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel payroll runs, defect tracking, and production validations to ensure successful delivery of payroll changes.\nManage and monitor payroll incidents, change requests, and enhancement activities using JIRA ticketing and other workflow management tools to ensure timely resolution and delivery.\nConduct impact assessments, risk evaluations, and stakeholder consultations to support payroll system changes and process improvements.\nPartner with Payroll, Technology, HR, Governance, and vendor teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and seamless payroll services while driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\nMinimum 7+ years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, Payroll Enablement, or HRIS-related functions.\nHands-on experience with SuccessFactors (SF) implementation, configuration support, enhancements, testing, and change management activities.\nStrong understanding of payroll processes, payroll systems, and payroll regulatory requirements, preferably within a large or multi-country organisation.\nProven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel payroll runs, defect management, test planning, and test execution.\nWorking knowledge of JIRA ticketing, incident management, change requests, and agile delivery methodologies.\nExperience gathering business requirements, performing impact assessments, and translating business needs into system solutions.\nAbility to manage payroll incidents, system enhancements, and stakeholder communications across Payroll, HR, Technology, and vendor teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills with the ability to work autonomously on complex issues.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\nExperience supporting payroll transformation, data migration, process improvement, and system implementation initiatives.\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
