This role is primarily focused on Pega platform engineering, integrations, security and operational excellence, with some involvement in Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) to support outbound customer communications.\nYou will work across the full application lifecycle, delivering scalable and resilient solutions while ensuring adherence to Pega best practices and enterprise standards. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.\nRole Type: Permanent\nRole Location: Acacia - Manyata Tech Park, Bangaluru\nWork Hours: Regular\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs a Senior System Architect, you will\nDesign, develop and maintain enterprise applications on Pega Platform.\nBuild and support Pega components including Activities, Data Transforms, Data Pages, Report Definitions, Job Schedulers, Queue Processors and Data Flows.\nDevelop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SMTP for Email, SMPP for SMS, Event streams and File-based interfaces.\nConfigure and support secure access by implementing authentication, authorization, access groups, roles, privileges and application security controls.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to improve platform stability and performance.\nSupport data movement and processing across enterprise applications, ensuring reliable system integration and operational efficiency.\nConfigure and maintain outbound communications including email and SMS treatments, templates and schedules within the CDH ecosystem.\nPartner with business and delivery teams during testing, release activities and production deployments.\nContribute to release planning, environment management and deployment activities across development, test and production environments.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMentor team members and provide technical leadership to support engineering capability growth.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\n5-8+ years hands-on experience delivering solutions on Pega Platform.\nStrong expertise in Pega application development, platform engineering and enterprise integration patterns.\nExperience developing and supporting Activities, Data Transforms, Data Pages, Report Definitions, Job Schedulers, Queue Processors and Data Flows.\nProven experience implementing and supporting REST, Email, SMS, Events and File-based integrations.\nSolid understanding of authentication, authorization, access management and application security principles.\nExperience supporting and troubleshooting production environments, including performance tuning and issue resolution.\nExposure to Pega Cloud environments and deployment processes across multiple environments.\nWorking knowledge of Pega Customer Decision Hub, including Next-Best-Action Designer (NBAD), Actions, Treatments, Outbound Schedules, Engagement Policies\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working within Agile delivery teams and collaborating across business and technology functions.\nGood to have skills:\nExperience with Pega SendGrid integrations and troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of SMS and digital messaging channels.\nBanking and Financial Services industry experience.\nExperience supporting large-scale outbound communication campaigns.\nMandatory Certifications:\nCertified System Architect (CSA)\nCertified Senior System Architect (CSSA)\nCertified Pega Decisioning Consultant (CPDC)\nSo why join us?\nANZ is a place where big things happen as we work together to provide banking and financial services across more than 30 markets.
