Some of your day-to-day activities may include:\nAnalysing product data, system behaviour and business processes to identify issues, risks and control gaps.\nSupporting the discovery and investigation activities that underpin the development of forensic pipelines.\nDeveloping documents and maintaining business rules, monitoring and analytical solutions.\nPerforming data analysis, root cause investigations and exception analysis to assess whether product outcomes are operating as intended.\nDesigning, executing and support testing and validation activities for business rules, controls and analytical solutions.\nPreparing and presenting insights, findings and recommendations to stakeholders.\nBuilding and maintaining reporting, monitoring and control processes that support effective product governance and oversight.\nCollaborating with Product, Operations, Risk and Technology teams to strengthen controls and improve product outcomes.\nMaintaining high-quality documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nSupporting incident and issue investigations through analysis and evidence-based recommendations.\nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing monitoring, controls and business processes.\nThis position offers flexibility and creativity-you’ll be encouraged to bring your unique perspective and flair to make the role your own.\nŌu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\nProven experience in product, data or business analytics, within banking or financial services.\nHands-on experience with SAS, Tableau and SQL(Teradata Studio), including data querying, analysis and reporting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex systems, data and processes.\nAbility to translate data and insights into clear, meaningful messages for a range of audiences.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with experience gathering requirements and supporting or leading projects.\nExcellent attention to detail, curiosity and a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes to agreed timelines.\nStrong written, presentation and communication skills.\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
