At the same time, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team of Category Managers, Sourcing Specialists and Supplier Relationship Managers, creating an environment where people can thrive and deliver their best work.\nThis is a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence executive stakeholders, support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and play a critical role in delivering ANZ's productivity and growth objectives.\nTwo permanent opportunities are available:\nSenior Manager, Procurement - Australia Retail\nSenior Manager, Procurement - Institutional\nRole Location: Melbourne or Brisbane\nRole Type: Permanent, Full-Time\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs a Senior Manager, Procurement, you will:\nDevelop and execute category strategies informed by market intelligence, supplier insights and business priorities.\nLead high-value and complex sourcing activities, including negotiations, contract execution and risk management across the source-to-contract lifecycle.\nPartner with senior leaders and executive stakeholders to align procurement outcomes with business objectives while ensuring compliance with organisational policies.\nManage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering capability development and high performance.\nOversee supplier relationship management activities, driving value creation, innovation and strong supplier performance.\nDeliver measurable commercial outcomes through cost optimisation, contract negotiations and product and service rationalisation initiatives.\nMonitor category and supplier performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, risk mitigation and enhanced business value.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\nExtensive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement and vendor management, with a proven track record delivering commercial outcomes in complex organisations.\nStrong capability in category strategy development, commercial negotiation and contract lifecycle management.\nAdvanced financial, market and supplier analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into strategic decisions.\nExceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience partnering effectively with senior executives and C-suite leaders.\nDemonstrated success leading procurement activities within large-scale transformation or change programs.\nExperience developing and managing global sourcing strategies, including cross-border supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.\nTertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, with professional procurement certification viewed favourably.\nYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
