Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.\nRole Type: Permanent\nRole Location: Bengaluru \nWork Hours: Regular Shifts(Hybrid/Blended)\nPlease note that while this advertisement is for a single role, there are multiple vacancies available for this position.\nWhat will your day look like?\nAs a SRE at ANZ Plus, you will be instrumental in helping build out the medium to long term strategy of SRE within your domain.\nYou will apply SRE principles to ensure that we build, monitor, and measure what is important.\nYou will work collaboratively with other SRE leaders and teams across ANZ Plus to continually drive down the cost of operations, increase efficiency, and build a strong reliability culture.\nYou will be a role model for technical execution. You will take ownership of complex and ambiguous problems, and you will mentor other engineers through their challenges.\nYou will need to be comfortable with constantly learning new tools and techniques along with running proof of concept evaluations to keep us on the leading edge. \nWe will turn to you for suggestions on how to improve the platforms, processes, and tools. We expect that you already have great ideas you can share at our cloud guilds & user groups, along with industry Meetups.\nWhat will you bring?\nTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\nMust have 10+years relevant experience\nExpertise coding in one or more languages (Go, Java, Python, or other scripting languages).\nExpertise with common Infrastructure as Code tools. For example, Terraform or CloudFomation.\nExpertise with one or more Continuous Intergration / Deployment tools. For example, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or BuildKite.\nExpertise in cloud computing across one or more major public cloud providers. For example, GCP, AWS, or Azure.\nProficient with Kubernetes, or equivalent container orchestration tooling.\nExperience working with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable solutions\nExperience with common monitoring and observability tooling. For example, Honeycomb, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.\nWhile none of our engineers have all the skills above, they do all code. The particular language and tools used are not as important as your development skills and learning aptitude.\nYou’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
