This is an experienced, hands-on testing role focused on thorough manual testing: functional, regression, and integration testing, plus SQL-based data validation. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with Aon's Eagle developers to test Eagle Pace customizations, data processing, and interfaces, as well as other backend, batch, and integration systems. Eagle Pace experience is a plus but not required the successful candidate will be expected to learn Eagle and investment data on the job. We would also like to explore applying test automation to Eagle testing, so automation experience is preferred.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build and execute detailed test plans ,l test cases and test scripts for application enhancements, upgrades, defect fixes, and new functionality.\nPerform functional, regression, and integration testing across applications, batch processes, and system interfaces.\nTest Eagle Pace customizations, data processing, and interfaces in close partnership with Aon's Eagle developers.\nValidate data accuracy and completeness using SQL, including source-to-target checks and reconciliation of processed data.\nTest backend, batch, and integration processes, including inbound feeds, outbound extracts, and APIs.\nWork closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements, design changes, and expected outcomes.\nTest toggle-based and configuration changes with flags on and off.\nReproduce and help diagnose production issues, and contribute to incident analysis for the Investment applications we support.\nCreate and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and test evidence\nSupport release validation, deployment activities, and post-release verification,coordinating with environment, release, and deployment teams to confirm environments are stable and ready\nAssist in production issue investigations and root cause analysis when required.\nHelp explore opportunities to apply test automation to Eagle and data testing,and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, standards, and templates.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n6+ years of software quality assurance experience, working independently as a senior tester.\nStrong manual testing experience across functional, regression, and integration testing.\nStrong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting data issues.\nExperience testing backend, batch, data processing, or integration systems.\nExperience creating test plans ,testdataand test cases, and managing defects through resolution.\nExperience working closely with developers within a delivery team.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Eagle Pace (Eagle Data Management) or other BNY Eagle products.\nExperience with investment data such as securities, holdings, transactions, and pricing.\nExperience supporting financial services, wealth management, retirement, or investment-related applications.\nTest automation experience we would like to explore applying automation to Eagle testing.\nExperience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments.\nExperience using AI-assisted productivity and testing tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.\n
