Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will design, build, and maintain software applications for AOT’s clients and internal product teams. You will write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code while ensuring applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with architectural best practices.

You will:

• Provide solution architecture and technical leadership for web applications, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions and define architecture, integration, and API patterns.
• Develop modern front-end applications using React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Python.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical designs, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Conduct code/design reviews and mentor development teams.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders.

Who You Are

You are a skilled and versatile developer who takes pride in your craft and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments. You bring a security-first mindset, strong architectural instincts, and a genuine desire to mentor others and improve the teams around you.

Must-Have

• 6-8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in both Solution/Application Architecture and hands-on Full Stack Development.
• Develop code-first ETLs using Python based tools like Prefect or Dagster or similar tools.
• Front-end expertise with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Backend development experience with Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience with Containerization and Microservice developments
• Design and deploy solutions on Public or Private clouds.
• Strong experience with APIs, microservices, integrations, databases, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Nice-to-Have

• Azure Cloud and cloud-native application development experience.
• Data Engineering/ETL experience using Prefect.

Salary Range

$100,000—$115,000 CAD
