This includes ensuring the safety and reliability of these systems, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, and complying with industry regulations and standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safety and reliability.\nDiagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues.\nComply with industry regulations and standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.\nCollaborate with other technicians, operators and engineers to improve the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.\nProvide technical support and training to other staff as needed.\nStay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to advise on potential improvements.\nYour background\nStrong technical skills with a good understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and infrastructure.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues.\nGood communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.\nKnowledge of industry regulations and standards related to electrical systems.\nHold a Queensland electrical fitter/ mechanic licence.\nA Certificate III in Instrumentation will be highly regarded. \nAbout the Team\nThe team safely operate and maintain the assets at Diamantina Power Facility which includes Diamantina Power Station, Leichhardt Power Station, Thomson Power Station, D Switch Yard, and Dugald River Solar Farm.\nThese assets are operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.\nTo help APA Securing Australia’s Energy Future, the Operations and Maintenance teams focus is on Our People, Operational Excellence and Creating Value.
