You will provide leadership to multidisciplinary operational and maintenance teams, manage operational risk and asset integrity, build strong customer and stakeholder relationships, and drive operational excellence across one of Australia's most strategically important energy regions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the safe, reliable and efficient operation of APA's Pilbara gas transmission and associated energy infrastructure assets.\nProvide leadership to multidisciplinary operational and maintenance teams, building capability, accountability and a high-performance culture.\nEnsure asset operations are conducted in compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory and asset integrity obligations.\nManage operational risk and lead effective incident and emergency response activities across the region.Manage operational expenditure, contractor performance and resource allocation to maximise asset value while ensuring safe and reliable operations.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, contractors, regulators and key internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional operational outcomes.\nDrive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, availability, cost performance and customer service.\nYour background\nSignificant experience leading operations and maintenance teams within energy, gas, utilities, mining or other critical infrastructure industries.\nDemonstrated success managing operational risk, asset integrity, compliance and safety performance.\nStrong leadership capability with experience leading geographically dispersed teams and contractors.\nExperience managing customer relationships and balancing operational, commercial and stakeholder outcomes.\nSound understanding of maintenance management, reliability and asset lifecycle principles.\nProven ability to lead during operational incidents and emergency response situations.\nAbout the Team\nThe Pilbara Asset Operations team is responsible for operating and maintaining critical gas transmission infrastructure that supplies energy to major mining, industrial and regional customers across Western Australia.
