Our sister company,MavenAI, delivers AI-powered marketing automation built by industry experts and integrated directly with property management systems, serving over 2M units. \nWe’re looking for a Technical Staff Product Manager to own ApartmentIQ’s data platform, the foundation behind the market intelligence multifamily operators rely on every day. This role is for someone with a data science or analytics background who is as comfortable writing SQL and digging into a pipeline as they are setting product direction.\nYou’ll set the vision and roadmap for how we ingest, model, validate, and deliver data, working closely with data engineering, data science, and product teams. When something looks off, you’ll dig in yourself: run the analysis, trace the issue to its root cause, and turn what you find into fixes and platform improvements. You’ll also work directly with customers to learn how they use our data,\nResponsibilities\nOwn the strategy and roadmap for the data platform, including ingestion, data models, data quality, and delivery to internal and customer facing products\nLead root cause analysis on data quality issues, anomalies, and metric discrepancies, and work with engineering on fixes that last\nDefine data quality standards, SLAs, and monitoring so issues are caught before they reach customers\nPartner with data engineering and data science to scope technical requirements, weigh tradeoffs, and prioritize the backlog\nTurn the needs of internal data users (product, analytics, data science, customer success) and multifamily operators into clear platform requirements\nDefine and track the metrics that measure platform health, adoption, and business impact\nEvaluate data sources, vendors, and partnerships that expand the depth and accuracy of our market intelligence\nExplain technical concepts clearly to non technical stakeholders and leadership\nQualifications\n8+ years of combined experience in product management, data science, or data analytics, including at least 4 years managing data products or data platforms\nBackground in data science, analytics, or a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, or computer science\nA track record of root cause analysis on complex data issues, from spotting the anomaly to shipping the fix\nSolid understanding of modern data stack concepts: pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar), data modeling, and data quality tooling\nExperience working closely with data engineers and data scientists, with enough technical depth to earn their trust and challenge assumptions\nAbility to turn ambiguous, messy data problems into clear priorities and actionable product plans\nExperience in a fast moving B2B SaaS environment; real estate, PropTech, or market data experience is a plus\nWhy Choose Us\nRemote-First: We offer the freedom to work from home across most of the U.S. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, balanced with high-energy in-person offsites to build real connections and celebrate our wins together.\nCompetitive Compensation: We believe in hiring the best and paying accordingly.
