understanding and adherence to the Aperam policies and values at the company’s core in order to protect Aperam from the disrespect of internal and external standards.\nTo accomplish this mission, the Compliance team is in charge of:\nDefining, planning, implementing and overseeing compliance risk-related programs including the third party due diligence process\nCoordinating and scheduling required compliance trainings for employees\n Supporting the Compliance officer in the implementation of the Compliance program within the group\nPerform due diligence reviews for suppliers and customers of Aperam in close collaboration with the sales, purchasing and sourcing teams around the world and based on the analysis of: Country risk (Economic sanctions on the country or embargo, Non cooperative jurisdictions)\nActivity risk (sectors linked to authorities and public agencies, state owned companies)\nEthical risk (ethical scandals, sanctions on individuals, Politically Exposed Persons)\nTransactions (size of the business, date of creation, atypical currencies, bank location…)\n\nTake part in cross-functional projects to ensure global consistency across entities (CSRD, integration of new sectors, etc.) \nParticipate in the deployment of Compliance training for Aperam employees worldwide and coordinate the follow up of those trainings, including the follow up of KPIs and the communication with the Compliance correspondents network\nProvide support to the business teams as such reviewing compliance related matters in contracts with our stakeholders\nCreate development and implementation of compliance awareness trainings\n Ideally graduated from a law school or economic school with legal experience\nFirst experience ideally in industry or in Legal or Compliance departments\nEnglish speaking\nCollaborative and excellent communication skills\nStrong problem-solving skills, creativity, empathy and the ability to act as a genuine business partner\nAbility to work autonomously while managing a wide variety of projects in parallel\nDemonstrated leadership, collaborative mindset and ability to influence without formal authority\nCustomer-oriented and proactive team player, comfortable working in cross-functional environments\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with non-lawyers and senior stakeholders\nAbility to align legal expertise with commercial and strategic business objectives\nCustomer Mindset: think customer first, understand markets and
