Environmental Technician (Part-Time)

Location: Remote: South Georgia / Florida Panhandle
Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Technician 3:
- Perform soil, groundwater, waste water, and stormwater sampling, site inspections, and other data collection
- Perform remediation system operations and maintenance
- Maintain field notes and prepare summary trip reports of field activities
- Observe safe work practices
What we're looking for:
- GED or High School diploma
- 8-12 years of experience
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently to achieve specified tasks
- Stable employment history and favorable employment references
- Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality
- Own reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and work under inclement weather conditions
- Up to 100% travel performing site inspections, O&M, and/or field sampling at multiple sites throughout the South Atlantic territory
