If you are passionate about technical excellence, teamwork, and providing exceptional client service, Apex offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career alongside industry-leading experts.\nWe are looking to fill a geologist/hydrogeologist position with to serve out of our Fort Myers or Tampa Bay office, under the supervision of a licensed Professional Geologist (PG). \nYour Responsibilities as a Geologist/Hydrogeologist:\nAssist staff with development of testing plans, well drilling, aquifer/well performance tests, instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis, report preparation, water resource permitting, and infrastructure design. \nDirect contractors during hydrogeologic explorations and testing programs. \nMust be capable of understanding technical aspects of hydrogeologic projects and execute projects to meet technical, quality, and scheduling requirements. \nDemonstrate strong verbal communication and written skills. \nWhat we're looking for:\nMinimum of BS in Geology or closely aligned field of study with relevant coursework. \n2+ years’ related experience. \nGeologist in Training (GIT) certification is preferred. \nKnowledge of geologic concepts including sedimentology, stratigraphy, karst systems, aquifer testing, geochemistry, groundwater and surface water monitoring. \nKnowledge of the geologic, hydrologic, and soil classification systems. \nKnowledge of the principles and standards of scientific study, field investigation and sampling, experimentation, research, and documentation. \nAbility to understand project objectives and schedules and meet critical deadlines and budgets. \nAbility to work with contractors, clients, and a diverse team of project delivery experts. \nStrong problem-solving skills; organized and reliable. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
