We are hiring a field-based Resident Project Representative to support Wastewater Collection System constructionin the Outer Cape of Massachusetts.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nObserves and reports on the construction of municipal wastewater project which may involve horizontal construction, new pump station or treatment plant construction and/or rehabilitation construction. \nMonitors and reports the contractor's adherence to standards, specifications, and design drawings and permits. \nReviews contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation and provide comments, coordinate review, and record as necessary \nObserves construction activities ensuring compliance with the contract and site procedures, tracks activities to review payments, prepares progress reports \nMonitors that construction complies with approved current standards and specifications \nObserves and photographs construction work in progress \nNotes and reports improprieties and deficiencies \nMaintains field log of daily events \nTracks and quantifies items of construction daily \nMonitors project schedule \nCoordinates and schedules subconsultants as needed \nCommunicates proactively and consistently with all involved parties \nFormulates written progress reports \nObserves and records material and equipment tests and equipment startup \nReviews and provides recommendations for submittals, pay estimates for contractors, proposed change orders, and documentation for funding and regulatory agencies. \nWhat we're looking for:\nPrevious related experience including 3+ years of construction/field observation experience required\nHigh school diploma or equivalency is required.\nAbility to communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, owner and contractor's superintendent.\nKnowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.\nAbility to stand and walk around for several hours observing and documenting field conditions or critical construction operations at active construction sites.\nExcellent written communication skills\nComputer proficiency with Microsoft applications to prepare reports\nValid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required. \nWhy you'll love working for us:\nCompany-subsidized medical and dental.\nCompany-paid life, short, and long-term disability.\n401k match, tuition assistance, and more.\nCross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.\nPerformance-based bonuses or other incentives.\nWorking with the best and brightest in the industry.\n2,000+ employee national firm with 70+ locations across the US.\n\nApex Job Title: Resident Project Representative\n\nReq ID: 12216\nAnnual Expected Pay Range\n$85,000—$105,000 USD\nWe believe in equality for all and celebrate the diversity and differences of our employees, customers, and communities.
