This position can be based out of any of our New England offices and can work a hybrid schedule. This position will be responsible for the structural design of facilities relating to water/wastewater/stormwater. \nNOTE: This role is focused on civil infrastructure and is not intended for structural engineers specializing in bridge or roadway design.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nServe as an in-house Structural Engineer to support the planning, engineering, and construction phase services for a variety of public infrastructure projects throughout New England\nPerform design of buildings and non-building structures for a variety of public and private clients\nWork with in-house civil and environmental engineers and landscape architects to support primarily municipal and industrial projects\nProvide structural analysis and design \nPerform structural calculations using a variety of software tools \nMentor junior engineers and technical staff \nProject types include, but are not limited to: Building design \nNon-building industrial or utility structures such as access platforms, vaults, and pump stations \nBuilding and non-building structure condition assessments \nPark structures and pedestrian structures \nMarine structures \nRetaining structure design \nFoundation design for tanks and other pre-engineered structures \nEngineering services during construction \nSupport for building demolition or partial demolition \n\nWhat we're looking for:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license is required.
