You will be working at various locations throughout SoCal cleaning a variety of different storm drain devices.\nYour Responsibilities as a Street Sweeper Operator:\nOperate equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks to include but not limited to street sweeper, backpack blower, pressure washer and hand-tools. Willingness and ability to learn to use this and other equipment as needed.\nMaintaining street sweeper vehicles and equipment by performing daily cleaning and conducting standard checks.\nFilling the street sweeper's water tanks and operating rotary brushes and water spray controls.\nClearing trash, debris, snow, and contaminants from streets and curbs.\nReporting any incidents or mechanical failures to management.\nMaintaining accurate driver logs and 3-part forms.\nAdhering to traffic safety regulations by using appropriate signaling and signage.\nWhat we're looking for:\nYou must have a valid Driver License, reliable transportation, cell phone, and clean driving record\nYou have ability to operate a street sweeper, backpack blower, pressure washer, generator, and other related equipment\nYou can communicate in English (reading and writing)\nFilling the street sweeper's water tanks and operating rotary brushes and water spray controls.\nExercising caution when operating in confined spaces, congested streets and construction sites.\nClearing trash, debris, snow, and contaminants from streets and curbs.\nYou can perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects\nKneeling, bending, and squatting are performed throughout the day\nNo experience necessary, we will train you\nWhy you'll love working for us:\nCross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.\nPerformance-based bonuses or other incentives.\nWorking with the best and brightest in the industry.\n2,000+ employee national firm with 70+ locations across the US.\nHourly Expected Pay Range\n$23—$25 USD\nWe believe in equality for all and celebrate the diversity and differences of our employees, customers, and communities.
