The role spans significantly wider than a typical accounts payable function. The successful candidate will not only manage the entire accounts payable process but will own the management of complex systems used by the team on a day to day basis and will be responsible for KPI reporting both internally and externally to the client. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager in the team who also leads the accounting function.\nJob specification\nManage the end-to-end accounts payable process.\nEnsure KPIs are tracked and reported on to agreed timelines.\nOwn and manage all processes which feed into the accounts payable process and highlight control risks.\nEnsure all processes are sufficiently documented and controls are in place to eliminate invoice processing error and payment errors.\nWork closely with the accounting team to ensure invoices are appropriately captured and processes are in place to mitigate risks.\nReview and verify invoices are in line with expected billing information of the client.\nReview invoices captured in the expense allocation system for accuracy.\nReview set up of invoices for payment on the client’s banking platform.\nReconcile bank statements\nundefined\nReconcile accounts payable transactions and produce trade creditor reports\nMonitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date\nAd-hoc client requests and project work\nLiaise with core-accounting team and aid with information requests\nSkills Required:\nPrevious accounts payable experience desirable\nKnowledge and understanding of general accounting principles \nExperience with online banking systems and accounting software\nKey Competencies:\nExcellent communication and organization skills\nExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.\nAttention to detail and process flow\nConfidentiality\nProblem-solving\nEfficiency and ability to meet deadlines\n....\nDisclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
