Acting as the most senior leader locally, you will play a critical role in driving business performance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, enhancing the Apex brand, and fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.\nThe role requires close collaboration with global business leaders and support functions, with responsibility for aligning local operations to the wider Group strategy while ensuring sustainable growth, strong stakeholder relationships, and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerformance Management\nIs the budget owner for the location.\nContributes to budget construction and development.\nPerforms plan reviews independently via Prophix on a day-to-day basis and collaboratively with FP&A on a monthly basis.\nActively manages revenue, transfer pricing, working capital and cost management in conjunction with relevant departments, ensuring all budget process deadlines are met.\nMonitors and helps manage the full P&L including Revenue, Compensation, G&A and BTL.\nProvides feedback, submissions and reporting to relevant Regional Heads and Group Management where applicable.\nFocuses on and ensures cost efficiencies.\nSupports vendor relationship management to ensure best pricing.\nUnderstands strategic initiatives and actively manages such initiatives with leadership and stakeholders.\nMarket Presence and Brand Leadership\nMaintains awareness of market and brand perception through participation in industry events and by developing strong relationships across key industry stakeholders.\nListens to feedback and develops plans to improve customer perception.\nHelps raise brand awareness locally.\nPromotes Apex Group internally and externally.\nParticipates in recruiting, industry and media events.\nActively uses social media to promote Apex Group and the local office.\nLocal Leadership\nEnsures effective communication across the jurisdiction for the benefit of all employees, including local and global events, news and announcements.\nMaintains responsibility for employee engagement, loyalty and understanding of Group strategy within the location.\nMaintains regular interaction with all departments represented in the country.\nProvides leadership and oversight across local support functions and business departments through strong stakeholder engagement and governance.\nRegulatory, Governance and Risk Management\nEnsures statutory compliance of the local entity.\nOversees and coordinates all communications with regulators.\nDevelops proactive relationships with regulatory authorities where possible.\nActs as an authorised signatory for the entity, reviewing and approving payments, vendor agreements, employment agreements, service agreements, financial statements and other key documentation in line with statutory and Apex Group procedures.\nOversees cash management and funding requirements.\nMaintains a sustainable and efficient organisational structure, identifying gaps and implementing solutions where required.\nEnsures Group goals for the entity are achieved and provides reporting as required.\nMonitors staff efficiency and cost management.\nEnsures Group transfer pricing policies are implemented effectively.\nProactively identifies risks and issues that may impact the entity or wider Group and takes appropriate action.\nLiaises with finance teams to ensure all statutory filings are completed accurately and on time.\nEnsures changes in statutory requirements are identified, communicated and implemented promptly.\nSupports local and Group audit requirements.\nPrepares Country Head and Board reports and meeting minutes.\nParticipates in Local Risk Committee meetings and reviews risk reports as required.\nWorks closely with HR regarding employment legislation and labour law compliance.\nMaintains ultimate responsibility for compliance with all relevant local legal and regulatory obligations, working closely with HR, Facilities, Finance, Legal and external advisers.\nCollaboration and Stakeholder Management\nMaintain strong working relationships across all departments, including Client Relationship Management (CRM), Product, Operations, Revenue and Support Functions.\nPartner closely with local and global stakeholders to support business performance, regulatory interactions, market reputation and effective local leadership.\nProvide oversight and leadership across all departments through established dotted-line reporting structures.\nRegularly meet with and assess local senior managers across all functions, regardless of reporting line.\nMaintain visibility of departmental performance and ensure leaders are meeting expectations and contributing to the overall business strategy.\nFoster collaboration and communication across departments to ensure alignment with local and Group objectives.\nEngage regularly with local and global Support Function leaders to stay informed of key developments, initiatives and Group strategy.\nLeverage insights from Support Functions to strengthen relationships with regulators, clients and external market stakeholders.\nMaintain sufficient visibility of Support Function activities to effectively evaluate country-level costs and financial performance.\nEnsure regular updates and engagement across all departments to support informed decision-making and business planning.\nThe Country Head Will:\nMeet regularly with the Local Leadership Team to review strategic priorities and initiatives.\nMeet with the Local Management Team at least monthly to promote communication and alignment across teams.\nParticipate in Group leadership meetings as required.\nEngage proactively with global departmental leaders to drive collaboration and achieve strategic goals.\nWork closely with HR and department leaders to support employee performance, development, engagement and retention.\nEnsure effective stakeholder communication and engagement.\nMeet regularly with Facilities representatives to ensure smooth office operations and resolve operational challenges.\nHost Town Hall meetings as required by the Group.\nMaintain an open-door approach with employees and foster an inclusive and collaborative culture. \nExperience, Qualifications & Candidate Profile\nSignificant senior leadership experience within financial services or another regulated environment.\nProven ability to lead multi-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders and drive business performance.\nStrong commercial, regulatory and governance knowledge, including experience managing budgets and P&L performance.\nExcellent leadership, communication and relationship management skills.\nProfessional qualification and/or degree
