This VP-level role will be responsible for driving strategic automation projects across trade processing and reconciliation functions, integrating client trade data, and enhancing operational efficiency through cutting-edge technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in fund administration, strong technical acumen, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Leadership & Delivery\n- Lead the design, development, and deployment of trade automation solutions across fund services.\n- Define and execute the automation roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.\n- Champion process optimization and digital transformation initiatives across trade workflows.\nClient Integration & Technical Oversight\n- Oversee integration of client trade files into internal systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.\n- Collaborate with client service managers, product teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver tailored automation strategies.\n- Ensure high-quality delivery of ETL processes, data mapping, and exception handling.\nOperational Excellence & Risk Management\n- Ensure trade transactions are processed accurately and timely, adhering to SLAs and compliance standards.\n- Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows, proactively resolving issues and minimizing operational risk.\n- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automated processes to support audit readiness and transparency.\nTeam Management & Collaboration\n- Mentor and lead a team of analysts and specialists across trade automation and reconciliation domains.\n- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.\n- Partner with global stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business priorities.\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\n- Advanced proficiency in SQL, VBA, MS Access, and Excel.\n- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data mapping.\n- Familiarity with Advent Geneva, Paxus, and market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv).\n- Strong understanding of financial instruments including listed, unlisted, OTCs, derivatives, and private equity.\nDomain Knowledge\n- Deep expertise in Fund Administration, Trade Processing, and Capital Markets.\n- Experience in managing large-scale automation projects and system migrations.\nLeadership & Communication\n- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships globally.\n- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDisclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
