And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.\nFor our business, for clients, and for you\nDescription\nKey responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.\nPreparation and/or review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP (IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102 and LUX GAAP).\nPreparation and/or review of accounting files, including checklists to support the effective review of the financial statements.\nWork closely with the sending locations to ensure that accounting records are accurate and transactions and activity within the portfolio are understood and incorporated into the disclosures as appropriate.\nComplete all day-to-day matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.\nEnsure high quality service delivery.\nEnsure any discrepancy is monitored and resolved professionally.\nProcess review, client and audit comments and support the process to ensure the completion of milestones and deadlines.\nIdentify and close out accounting issues promptly.\nPrepare accounts review checklists to support the effective review of financial statements and save signed copies of the checklists on appropriate drive.\nPerform other duties to support the Manager and team as may be necessary from time-to-time.\nSkills / experience\n4-5 years’ working experience.\nQualified/ Partly Qualified accountant.\nPassionate about financial markets and reporting.\nGood knowledge of IFRS and willingness to gain working knowledge of other GAAPs such as UK GAAP, US GAAP, Lux GAAP and SFRS.\nExperience/exposure of accounting for structures holding alternative assets, including Real Estate assets; Debt & Private Equity.\nExposure in working with other Teams across the Globe.\nWell organised and can work within tight deadlines.\nExcellent spoken and written English.\nExperience in reviewing the work of others and coaching.\nDisclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
